Founded in 2026, KUUKee is a premium designer brand founded by entrepreneur, philanthropist and creative Kimbee Chan.
Playing on the word "kooky", the brand channels Kimbee’s eccentricity, playfulness and charm in special, seasonless pieces that combine her love for textiles and the jet-set demands of her world.
KUUKee is anchored in the twin philosophies of “ease” and "serotonin dressing”. Designed to be worn equally as sets or mixed with each other and everyday basics, KUUKee gives an eclectic twist to wardrobe staples, creating a joy in dressing achieved as easily as pulling on a prestyled ruffle pullover.
As a nod to her penchant for handmade crafts and humor, KUUKee’s debut collection creates knit impressions of woven fabrics, producing a handmade feel in premium yarns sourced worldwide from heritage mills.
About the Founder
Kimbee Chan is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and creative. In addition to acting as the CEO of Chinese Estates Holdings Limited, Kimbee founded Happy Yarn in 2023 as an outlet for her self-directed interest in textiles. As its Creative Director (a position she continues to hold), Kimbee has been able to at once sharpen her unique design language through experiments with form and design, and engage in transformative community work by teaching and spreading the art through public workshops.
In KUUKee, Kimbee expands her universe to fashion, creating a line of joyful, “kooky” pieces that convey her vibrant personal aesthetic while addressing the needs of her busy, public-facing lifestyle.
